Job DescriptionRyder is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team in Albany, NY. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy-duty vehicles.Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic problems
• Perform standard component inspections and repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine the nature of complaintsRequirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification preferred
  • Basic tools required
  • Demonstrated aptitude and experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
  • Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferredBenefits
