  Key Responsibilities:
  --- Provide expert nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients, including those with respiratory failure, sepsis, neurological conditions, congenital disorders, and post-surgical recovery.
  --- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient responses to interventions.
  --- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as per physician orders.
  --- Monitor and operate specialized equipment, including ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors.
  --- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  --- Provide education and emotional support to patients' families, ensuring they understand treatment plans and discharge instructions.
  --- Maintain accurate documentation of patient history, assessment findings, and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  --- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and state/federal regulations.
  --- Float to other pediatric units or critical care areas as needed.
  
  Qualifications:
  --- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state of practice (or compact license).
  --- Minimum of 2 years of recent PICU experience.
  --- BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required); CCRN (preferred).
  --- Proficiency in managing ventilators, critical drips, and pediatric resuscitation.
  --- Strong ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
  --- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  --- Ability to adapt to different hospital settings and EMR systems.
  
  Willingness to work on every other weekend, and rotating holidays.
  
  Preferred Experience:
  --- Prior travel nursing experience.
  --- Experience in Level I/II Pediatric Trauma Centers.
