Job Description:
Fastaff Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Maternal -
Newborn for a travel nursing job in Albany, New York. Job
Description & Requirements
BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
Number of Beds : 2,000 deliveries each year, predominantly high
risk population. 11 Labor Rooms plus 3 swing and 4 bed triage/3
Operating Rooms
Unit staffing description- All RN staff with unit secretary and OR
surgical techs. OB Anesthesia designated Center of Excellence.
Attending and OB resident staff.
Documentation system: EPIC
Scheduling requirements: 12 hour shifts
Floating policy: to areas with competency. AMC has an internal
float team that assists in filling holes
Patient Experience requirements: L&D nurses required to float
to high risk antepartum unit.
Any scrub Color
Advanced skills needed: Cesarean Sections, Inductions, Bariatric
patients, other high-risk conditions
Procedures performed on unit: NSTs, Cerclage, triage, recovery
after C-section
a. Parking: Please Park on upper floors of the 40 New Scotland Ave
Garage unless directed otherwise. After parking, go to the Ground
floor and exit outside- walk down the street to 22 New Scotland
which is the 2nd building on the right

for the highest risk patients in the region, either seen at one of
our practices, or transported in from other cohort hospitals. We
are supported by our staff in our 60 bed level IV NICU.
