Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established firm in the Capital Region, NY area. This is a full-time, direct hire position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits!



The ideal candidate will have at least five years of prior experience as a Litigation Paralegal, possess excellent organizational and project management skills, and attention to detail. The Litigation Paralegal must have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, as well as working independently and in collaboration with counsel and staff is critical.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Transcription and preparation of pleadings, discovery, motions, appeals, correspondence, and memos accurately and efficiently.
Filing of legal documents using NYSCEF and/or CM/ECF.
Assistance with trial and appeal preparation.
Provision of administrative support to attorneys to include scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and communicating with clients and Court personnel.
Maintenance of document management systems and organization of all files on a current basis.
Proofreading of legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
Time entry to record all billable hours for each litigation attorney.



Qualifications:

Five years previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal.
Exceptional attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and proofreading skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of NYSCEF and CM/ECF filing systems, and proficiency in using document management systems and other legal software is required.
Ability to perform legal research utilizing LexisNexis.
Strong familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.



Salary:



$65,000-$70,000- based on qualifications and experience.
