Job Description:

A company is looking for a Trauma Data Abstractor responsible for remote abstracting and registry operations.



Key Responsibilities

Follow project parameters and industry guidelines for data abstraction
Meet defined quality and productivity standards for each case type assigned
Participate in registry operations tasks as assigned and provide timely responses to management inquiries


Required Qualifications and Training

Minimum of one year current abstraction experience for Trauma
Completion of Trauma ICD 10 Coding Course
Completion of Trauma Registry Course
Completion of AAAM AIS Coding Course
Preferred certifications include CAISS/CSTR, RN, RHIA/RHIT, or CPHQ
