Leading specialty insurer seeks degreed underwriter to join a big-league underwriting team assessing and pricing Healthcare Professional Liability risks for multiple types of Doctors, Healthcare Assistants and Healthcare Facilities.

Responsibilities include:

*** Developing, maintaining and implementing policies and procedures relating to the underwriting functions of the department.

*** Developing, maintaining, managing, and growing a book of business.

*** Identifying, soliciting, and negotiating new business opportunities.

*** Establishing and maintaining relationships with wholesale brokers in the region.

*** Partaking in account terms and conditions negotations.

*** Growing the underwriting group and expanding profitability.
