Construction Estimator needed for large scale commercial construction projects in Albany NY. Candidate should have a knowledge of subcontractors in the Albany NY market.Client DetailsClient is a commercial builder/developer located in Albany NY. They specialize in ground-up and remodel construction projects. All of the projects are in and around the capitol region.Description

• Construction Estimator will:
  • Works directly with VP to generate estimates for small and large projects.
  • Compile bidders lists with PM's.
  • Maintains bid log and actively updates status for management.
  • Interact directly with project owners as required including attending meetings with partners and project managers.
  • Bi-weekly project updates with entire team.
  • Work closely with owners as needed, including walk-through's, for bid preparation and proposal development.
  • Communicate and interact with sub-contractors and component suppliers such as concrete, steel, joist, precast and masonry.Profile
    • 7+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator
    • 2+ years experience leading as head Estimator
    • Average project size of $10-$50 million
    • Knowledge of Building and Construction codes
    • Ground up commercial/industrial construction experience is a must
    • Construction Management, Architecture, or Relevant Degree a plus but not requiredJob Offer
